Service Description
Puppy classes to teach you how to understand and communicate effectively with your dog. Reassurance and confidence building for you and your puppy. Establishing the foundation skills for a well trained puppy, including settle, recall, leave it, lie down, stay, jumping up, lead walking etc. Advice on puppy biting, toilet training, responsible socialisation, preventing separation anxiety and more. Puppy pack provided on first session. 6x 50 minute classes Redhouse Community Centre, SN25 2NJ - MAIN HALL Training methods are strictly positive, gentle, reward and praise based BOOKING POLICY T&Cs Puppies to wear a flat collar and / or harness Puppies to be kept on lead at all times No slip leads Please arrive and depart sessions promptly Water and toys are provided Bring your own kibble / treats that the puppy will work for Also bring some high value treats for recall practise (eg ham / cheese / chicken etc) Make us aware in advance if the attending handlers have any learning requirements or disabilities Wherever possible, please ensure that one handler attends each session consistently throughout the course PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU CAN ATTEND ALL 6 SESSIONS WHEN BOOKING as there is not sufficient time within sessions to catch anyone up from a missed session 40 minute catch-ups online can be booked (subject to availability), £40 each If your dog is unwell, please attend without your dog to observe and learn. There are no refunds for any missed sessions or for cancellations within 7 days of the course starting Puppies must be vaccinated For nervous, very noisy or over-excitable puppies, please contact before booking as an alternative 1:1 environment may be much more suitable, relaxed and productive for training If your puppy is unable to cope in the class environment, we will do everything possible to support them however, if unsuccessful, you will be asked to remove the puppy from the group and offered an online alternative so that your puppy can learn and train at home instead where they can focus better. No refunds available. Classes require a minimum of 4 attending dogs to go ahead, if the class does not fill sufficiently, you will be offered alternative dates / times, a full refund or 1:1 options instead. Handlers are responsible for their own dogs at all times and no liability is accepted for accident, illness, damage or loss to dogs, caregivers or property.
